(CSTS-09) Construction Safety Training System ~ Worker Course

CSTS-09 is an excellent one day generalist course that requires six - eight hours at home or work computer to complete online and covers the following fifteen lessons on all aspects of safety at work.  Recognized in both Alberta and BC

The CSTS-09 (Worker) Program contains an overview of the following subjects:

  • Your Worksite and the Law
  • Personal Physical Care and Conduct
  • Personal Protective Equipment
  • Workplace Hazards
  • Field Level Hazard Assessment
  • WHMIS
  • Worksite Conditions
  • Environmental Factors
  • Emergency Response
  • Ladders and Scaffolding
  • Mobile Equipment
  • Machinery, Tools and Equipment
  • Excavations and Trenching
  • Defensive Driving
  • Fall Protection

Students complete the course by setting up an appointment with the construction association office to complete the quizzes (2-3 hours).
